Imagine a warm summer day with the wind in your hair, sun on your face, and 800 dogs between your feet. Now imagine every step you take that day means a homeless animal in our city is provided with food, care and medicine. Wouldn’t you get involved? Participate in Calgary Humane Society’s 17th annual Dog Jog on June 2nd, 2018 and every step you take will build a more compassionate tomorrow.

Dog Jog is a one day event where two- and four-legged friends get together to walk or run the South Glenmore park Weaslehead Trail on a marked pathway distance of 2.5km or 5km. Once your race is complete, you and your family are encouraged to spend the day with us in celebration of your accomplishments with our outdoor festival including fido-friendly vendors, a Kids Zone complete with bouncy castles and face painting, and a Mutt & Mingle food and beverage garden where the city’s hottest food trucks will gather.
