All the food and yard waste you put in your green cart is turned into nutrient-rich compost. Visit the Calgary Compost Facility to pick up free compost* to use in your flower beds, gardens and more.

Calgarians can pick up to 100 litres per vehicle and will need to hand load the compost. Please bring a shovel, containers and tarps to cover your load when you leave. For residents only.
