We occasionally receive inquiries about snow removal in our communities, and how to report pathways that aren’t being cleared/slip & fall hazards.
Pathway snow removal is managed by the City of Calgary.
The City is responsible for high foot traffic pathways that do not border a residential property. Snow removal on a sidewalk immediately adjacent to residential property is the homeowners responsibility.
