Coaches and Assistant Coaches will be provided with a handbook at the beginning of the season that includes easy warm-up activates, games, and drills for the various levels. Coaches are not required to have an extensive knowledge of soccer; the Timbits program is a fun-first league and focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual confidence. Most teams will focus on general movement and coordination, with soccer techniques added for more advanced players at the higher divisions.
The responsibility of the equipment bag is shared between the Coach and Assistant Coaches. Coach Orientation and Equipment Pickup will take place on (date to be confirmed). The Coach from each team must attend, or must arrange for an Assistant Coach to attend in their place. Assistant Coaches are welcome to attend as well even if their Coach is attending.
